Opera Company Trustees
The 2018 conference will bring the opera field together in St. Louis with a focus on increasing civic impact and advancing equity, diversity and inclusion. The conference will call on administrators, artists and trustees to share inspiring stories, tackle tough issues, embrace differences and lift the many voices that make opera strong.
Trustees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the latest discourse around civic leadership, artistic planning, marketing strategies and fundraising initiatives. The conference also offers a series of conference sessions specifically tailored to issues of governance: leadership transition, financial oversight, investment in diversity and more.
When registering, please select the “PCM and Trustee” ticket to receive member pricing and entry to trustee-only roundtables. Three or more trustees and staff from the same Professional Company Member organization receive discounted Team pricing when registering for the conference.
Trustees who are part of OPERA America’s Ambassador Circle are invited to participate in special activities during the conference.
OPERA America Ambassadors
OPERA America’s Ambassador Circle supporters are dedicated opera lovers, patrons, artists, administrators and trustees whose generous gifts of $500 or more provide the foundation for OPERA America’s core services to the opera field.
In addition to the annual conference sessions, Ambassadors will enjoy special dinners and festival performances in the Gateway City. Evenings at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis feature Verdi’s La traviata and Gluck’s Orfeo and Euridice alongside Marc Blitzstein’s rarely performed Regina and the closing performance of Huang Ruo and David Henry Hwang’s world-premiere opera, An American Soldier.
To participate, current OPERA America Ambassadors should contact Dan Cooperman, director of development, at DCooperman@operaamerica.org.
